Sheltering Arms' After School Program is designed to support the healthy development of all participants. We provide a safe space where scholars are equipped with the skills and resources necessary to discover their strengths, cultivate their leadership and team-building skills, enhance their creativity, and increase their love of learning.
Every day after school, scholars receive a snack, receive homework assistance, engage in hands-on leadership and literacy activities, and participate in a variety of clubs, including fashion design, cooking, intramural sports, art, drama, film, and photography. Field trips are planned for some school holidays. The program is operated by the nonprofit agency Sheltering Arms Children & Family Services and funded by the Department of Youth and Community Development.
Enrollment applications are available in Room 408
